McKennan Marie

McKennan's education is predominately in three-dimensional making. Majoring in furniture design at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, she is passionate about fusing creativity and functionality in her practice. Teaching students within the Twin Cities area, she emphasizes hands-on learning and artistic experimentation. She specializes in teaching printmaking, sculpture, and textile classes to young learners. As a small-business owner, she is dedicated to equipping students who want to build a future in the arts with the technical skills and creative mindset needed to pursue what they love. With that said, McKennan is always open to having discussions with young artists about their future creative endeavors!
